Internet and the Integration of Immigrants in Germany and Israel: Characteristics and Potentials

The paper discusses the characteristics of immigrants´ internet activities and their relevance for integration processes. In a comparative perspective the authors address the relationship between use of the internet by Russian immigrants in Israel and Germany and integration. The paper shows similarities in both groups´ uses of this technology despite differences in the social and political structures of migrants´ lives in their host countries.
